　　相对于无锡阳光100国际新城，应该说，长沙阳光100国际新城一号地块设计既有一致的浪漫感和迷幻性，更有清新、清朗和清帅的特征。

　　最为出彩的是环湖而筑的点式高层和水院别墅。首先，建筑师不回避建设量和容积率问题，他把最感压力的建筑体量放在地段西侧城市边界地带，把最具魅力与特色的水体空间置于基地中央最显要位置，用最小体量压力的点式高层和水院别墅环绕其中。这样做，社区所有的视线视觉空间、水体景观空间被打通、被串联、被激活、被观赏，为居民提供最大程度亲近与观赏水的机会，打造出优美的“湖世界”。这些别墅，组构自由、造型纯净，宛如散落在湖水中的白色花朵，无邪绽放。当别墅的主人在观赏浩渺湖水和岳麓美景的同时，建筑本身又变为社区一道最美丽风景。

　　在景观设计上，北欧设计师更多地师法中国园林，注意将北欧元素融入当地文化，“北欧形中国意”，这是大师的谦和与胸襟，值得很多国内设计师学习。但在对湖水的处理上，则很有创造性。与强调“远观”的美学取向不同，它通过“东渠西湾”将建筑推进湖中，把湖水引入建筑庭园内，让景观融入居住者的日常生活中。设计手法的大胆、前卫，缘于设计师对人的现代性的深切关注。

　　当我们过细研究它的总体形态时，会发现，建筑大师毫不犹豫的选择他惯用的多变几何形或几何体，依旧不用自然界里最多出现的曲线，从表面上看，好像血脉里就从来没有想过要去模仿自然，它要做的，是创造自然；但只有在你发出赞美和惊叹之后，你才会在顿悟中联想到他们似乎来自遥远的梦幻世界、似乎和美妙的自然有着冥冥中的联系。简单、机械的模仿固然很容易做出某些“噱头”，但它的内涵是单薄的、没有外延的，甚至是鄙陋的。可以说，西区国际在很多中国建筑师面前放了一面镜子，让人反思、自省、学习、领悟。

　　笔者在想，也许北欧的建筑师们从自然中获得灵感的同时，他们没有像中国建筑师一样，常常又把设计带回到往往流于空洞的现代理念和气派的做作上，她们注重联想不在意主义、注重细节而不热衷模仿、注重时尚而不追求花哨、注重光影变换而不寻求繁复体型。这是北欧建筑文化的生动表达，也是一种创作哲学。也许，这是中国建筑师最值得思考、领悟的境界。
